Start with the connection you need
For a live view on another device, use the local IP camera and browser viewer. For a camera selectable inside a Windows app, use the Windows webcam companion. Both start with the same Android camera feed.
Video calls and presentations
Place your phone at eye level and select Camlora in a compatible Windows 11 meeting app. Keep your existing headset or computer microphone selected: Camlora does not install a system-wide virtual microphone.
Teaching, handwriting and demonstrations
A stable overhead phone mount can show worksheets, drawing, instrument fingering, craft work or a product demonstration. The document camera guide explains framing, lighting and sharing. This is a live camera view, with no built-in OCR or document scanning.
A second angle for recordings
A phone can provide a close-up of your hands or workbench while another camera covers the wider scene. A compatible receiving app handles recording and switching between sources; Camlora itself supplies the live feed.
Casual pet or workshop viewing
Reuse a spare phone to look at a pet’s usual spot or check a workbench from another device on the same network. This is occasional live viewing: Camlora does not provide motion alerts, unattended recording history or guaranteed continuous operation. Stay present for machinery and tasks that require supervision.
MJPEG projects and dashboards
The phone serves an MJPEG stream and JPEG snapshot URL. Tools that accept these formats may be able to display the feed. See integration details and testing limits before choosing Camlora for an existing dashboard.
What about a security camera or baby monitor?
Camlora is not a replacement for a dedicated security system or a safety-critical monitor. It has no cloud access service, motion-detection alerts or built-in recording archive. Choose a product designed and validated for those requirements if you need them.
